The scope of the contract is for the delivery, installation, and commissioning of two square section autoclaves with integral heating methods, to replace an existing ageing facility currently operating in the building.
The facility operates a central service offering sterilisation services to the research community within the building.
The proposed autoclaves must be reliable and designed to work in shared facility where they we will be used several times a day, over 5 days a week for 45 weeks of the year.
Suppliers should provide an option to purchase one further autoclave (one of either specification stated as detailed Section 3 of this ITT) which may be taken up at the time of purchase of the other two autoclaves.
