The Provision of a Managed Security & Car Parking Service ( Reference T039-17) Use of ESPO framework 676 Lot 1 East of England

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust ('the Authority') wishes to carry out a further competition in relation to the Contract for the Supply of Workforce Management Solution and Associated Services, through ESPO Framework Ref: 676 Lot 1 ( East of England Region) The Trust's Security and Car Parking Service operates 24 hour 365 days a year and is available to provide a safe, secure environment for patients, staff and visitors and their possessions whilst at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and includes any other areas occupied by the Trust on other sites outside of the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

This contract opportunity is for the provision of a professionally led, high quality fully managed security service that complies with all legislation governing the security industry and enforces the Trust's security policy.

The Trust seeks a suitable Supplier to provide a high profile security presence on the site.to ensure effective crime prevention measures are in place and to deliver a quick response when required, in respect of any security related issue.

The supplier will be required to demonstrate a high level of understanding of the Health Sector and the unique requirements thereof.

The supplier will work collaboratively with the Trust's Estates Department, contribute to the development of solutions that meet the Trust's requirements and be committed to problem-solving, should any issues arise.

The duration of the Contract will be for 3 years ('initial period') with an option to extend for an additional two years ('extension period'), subject to terms of contract and satisfactory performance.
