The Forestry Commission is inviting tenders for weeding, cleaning and application of pesticides.
All sites are located within the Marches Beat of West England Forest District (maps available on request).
The work will include: The application of pesticides including a water soluble dye (with the exception of car park treatment) as a spot or band spray according to the individual locations as set out in the below table control of grasses, broadleaved weeds and woody weeds.
Cleaning of undesirable naturally regenerated trees in establishing crops by clearing saw.
Hand weeding of restock site using hand tools.
