The brief

**Please note the submission date has been extended to 29/9/2017 at 12 noon** NHS South of England Procurement Services (SoEPS), acting on behalf of Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are commencing a tender for the provision of Advanced Assessment Skills and Training For Community Pharmacists in the HEE London And South East Geography.

The aim of this urgent care education initiative is to build on the learning resources developed in phase one and phase two of the project by providing training to further develop the capability of community pharmacists to support urgent and emergency care pathways both out of hours and in day to day practice.

The intention is to change ways of working to reduce demand on urgent care services in both the long and short term, tied in to areas of national and regional priority.

The formation of a regional HEE Pharmacy team across London and the South East (HEE LASE) has provided the opportunity of extending phase three to include the provision of learning for HEE North, Central and East London as well as Kent, Surrey and Sussex.

As such, HEE LASE is now overseeing the current phase of the project and will lead the procurement process, with additional financial support being provided by KSS AHSN.

HEE are therefore inviting providers to submit proposals for the provision of training to community pharmacists.

Bidders are invited to access the procurement documentation at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/soepscommissioning.
