The brief

Carers Support Service in Camden The new service will support carers to improve or maintain their health and wellbeing to continue in their caring role.

It will increase identification of carers, improve access to support for harder to reach carers, facilitate partnership working around the needs of carers and provide breaks and activities.

There is a demonstrable need for this type of service within Camden.

The 2011 Census indicated that there were 17,306 residents providing unpaid care in Camden with numbers predicted to rise to 21,452 by 2022.
