It is situated approximately 1 mile from the village of Gressenhall and 3 miles from the town of Dereham.
The building dates back to 1777 when built as a ´House of Industry´ (Workhouse), to provide a home and work to the rural poor who were otherwise unable to obtain work.
The Council is seeking to appoint a Main Contractor to undertake building fabric repairs and improvements in accordance with the specification and scope contained within the tender pack.
