The brief

Luton Council is conducting a Competitive Open Tender process in accordance with the Provider Selection Regime (2023) for delivery of our Luton Drug and Alcohol Treatment and Recovery Service.

The Council will be hosting a virtual 'Meet the Buyer' event on Tuesday 2nd July 2024 @ 12 noon - 2pm.

This event presents an opportunity for service providers to gain insight into the needs of the Luton community and explore how their services can address those needs and contribute to our service delivery.

Key elements; • Contract term 8+2 years beginning 1st April 2025 • Implementation of a new model of delivery, through three 'lots' as set out below, forming the Luton Drug and Alcohol Alliance 1.

Clinical treatment including specialist children and young person service, criminal justice and hospital in reach 2.

Recovery service 3.

Care and support service for those not ready or able to make changes to their dependency and addiction • Required delivery of a competent, experienced and professional service across all areas • To comply with all relevant legislation, regulations, statutory circulars and National Quality requirements including NICE guidelines and CQC registration.
