CY-Episkopi: BFCCB/1341 - Provision of Personnel Transport Services to BFC
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This is a large award for Transport Services — above three-quarters of comparable contracts. Based on 20,160 valued Transport Services tenders in our corpus.
British Forces Cyprus (the Authority) has a requirement for the Provision of Personnel Transport Services from 1 September 2015 to 31 March 2017, with the option to extend for up to forty one (41) months.
The duration of the contract is dependent upon the roll out of Project Phoenix (the Authority’s Fleet Management initiative) to BFC which is currently expected to be 1 April 2017.
The transport services required are: Lot 1 - Provision of Buses/Minibuses Lot 2 - Provision of Taxis Lot 3 - Hire of Self Drive Vehicles for BFC Lot 4 - Hire of Self Drive Vehicles for UK BRITCON Lot 5 - Provision of Medical Transport Service (future option) It is the Authority’s intention to place one contract for all requirements, however it is recognised that better value for money may be achieved by placing contracts with different companies for the above Lots.
Expressions Of Interest (EOIs) can therefore be submitted for all Lots or for individual Lots (except Lot 5 which is a potential future requirement only).
The Authority would be happy to consider companies acting alone or working together in a partnering/joint venture arrangement.
EOIs must clearly state which Lots a company is expressing an interest in and must contain details of your company to include the following information: 1.
Company point of contact details for future correspondence (e-mail, telephone, postal address, web site) 2.
Company registration details A Pre Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) exercise will form part of the EOI process and must be completed via www.contracts.mod.uk.
For assistance in completing please contact DefComrclCC-JFC2a@mod.uk.
EOIs are to be submitted in English, by email, to the following address: DefComrclCC-JFC2a@mod.uk by the deadline of 17:00 CET on Monday 18th May 2015.
Potential Suppliers should note that any EOIs or PQQs received after this time and date will not be considered.
This Contract notice is not to be construed as confirmation that a tender/contract will subsequently be issued; announcements are for information only.
Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken prior to contract award will be at the Supplier’s own risk.
