e-ITT for the provision of Lift Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Services for Hants and Isle of Wight Local Authorities

Fareham Borough Council led a collaborative OJEU tender in 2012 to establish a single contractor to provide lift maintenance, repair and overhaul services across the Hants & IOW (HIOW) geographical region.

Following a successful contract term the extant arrangement expires in December 2019, the Council is leading a new tender exercise on behalf of those participating Authorities within Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to establish a successive single provider contract for the next three years (plus any optional extension period).

The requirement is to establish a planned maintenance regime for the passenger and goods lift services within the portfolio of council owned assets.

This to be supplemented under the framework terms to include the ability to obtain quotes (in line with an agreed schedule of rates) to carry out planned repairs and overhauls as and when approved by the relevant Council.

The lift sites / buildings are listed in the attached asset register and include sheltered housing sites, multi storey car parks, office accommodation, an entertainment complex and other public buildings, all of which are located within Hampshire.
