Southend-on-Sea City Council seeks to procure a training provider to deliver a Social Work Degree Apprenticeship programme in line with the Apprenticeship Standard (Level 6).

The contract will support workforce development by enabling employees to gain a professional social work qualification while continuing to work.

The successful provider will deliver a high-quality, accredited Social Work Degree Apprenticeship that meets the requirements of the Social Work England standards and Skills England and complies with the DfE apprenticeship funding rules.

Delivery should combine academic learning, with must include face to face learning, with practical workplace placements, ensuring apprentices are fully prepared for professional registration.
