The brief

The University is seeking to enter into a Multi-Consultant Framework Agreement (Agreement) for Clerk of Works Services.

The University of Leicester is seeking proposals from suitably qualified and experienced Clerk of Works consultancy practices (mechanical & electrical, or building, civil & structural) to help ensure quality is maintained when developing the University's built assets.

The University requires all tendering consultants to be capable of delivering Traditional or Design and Build, New Build or Refurbishment projects under Joint Contracts Tribunal (JCT) contracts.

Additionally the consultants must be capable of delivering projects of different complexities, for example work on science laboratories, residential buildings and teaching spaces.

The framework agreement will be for an initial 3 year period after which there will be an optional extension of 12 months.

The University estimates a total spend of £820,000
