Home Group - Internal Audit Support (2018)

This Tender is for the provision of Internal Audit Support and related services covering Home Group Limited and its subsidiaries to include, but not restricted to: (1) Computer Audits; (2) Specialist Audits - for example Value for Money reviews and new business development plans; and (3) Systems Audits - where there could be a potential conflict of interest for the internal team or if internal resource is directed to other activities.

The contractor will be required to work in partnership alongside the in-house Risk and Assurance Services (RAS) team to help deliver the annual assurance plan.

RAS have a rolling 3 year strategic audit plan which addresses all key business risk areas.

The plan is updated on an annual basis to reflect current business risks and the changing environment that the Group operates in.

The RAS structure comprises of the Director of Assurance and Corporate Services; a Risk and Assurance Manager and three Auditors.

RAS recognise the benefits, such as skill sharing and best practice knowledge that outsourcing a proportion of work can bring to the in-house team.

The Director of Assurance and Corporate Services is very keen for this to be a partnership which provides benefit both in terms of the outputs of work but also supports internal staff development.
