WEST AND SOUTH YORKSHIRE AND BASSETLAW COMMISSIONING SUPPORT UNIT
Adult Fast Track Continuing Health Care services
The Partnership Commissioning Unit, working on behalf of the four NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in North Yorkshire, is reviewing its current process for commissioning adult Fast Track Continuing Health Care services across North Yorkshire.
For those patients with a rapidly deteriorating condition that may be terminal the Fast Track process was set out in the National Framework to enable immediate provision of NHS Continuing Care and it is the PCU’s intention to ensure that we continue to commission care that improves patient safety and quality.
We would like to advise you that we will be holding two Market Engagement Events, planned for: 30th July 2015 NHS Partnership Commissioning Unit (PCU) Unit 5 Sovereign House Kettlestring Lane Clifton Moor York YO30 4GQ 6th August 2015 Thirsk Town Hall Westgate Thirsk North Yorkshire YO7 1QR Both events are from 2:00 till 4:30 for any providers interested in tendering for a Lead Provider role for adult Fast Track Continuing Health Care services for our patients in domiciliary and residential settings only.
The Lead Provider would be required to coordinate the fast-track requirements of the CCG and sub-contract work to geographically appropriate care providers, thereby offering the commissioner a single point of contact and taking overall ownership of the delivery model.
The engagement events will be designed to explain this approach in detail and it is hoped potential providers will help to develop the model before we formally approach the market.
Space at both events are unfortunately limited so each provider will be restricted to a maximum of 3 attendees.
Please register your interest at the eTendering site https://www.nhssourcing.co.uk and complete the Qualification Envelope response to indicate if you would like to attend and the contact details of each attendee.
If you have any questions please direct them through the messaging system on this site, all documentation will also be made available here throughout the process so please register here to be kept informed in any case.
