The brief

This Norfolk pilot project will deliver the Respect Young Peoples Programme (RYPP) for families where children/adolescents are abusive or violent towards their parents/carers, known as CAPVA in partnership with; Norfolk Youth Justice Service (NYJS), Norfolk Children's Service (NCS), Police, Norfolk Integrated Domestic Abuse Service (NIDAS) and partners, managed by OPCCN, thereby offering support and enhanced safeguarding to any associated victims and children.  Provision of accredited evidence-based RYPP training to dedicated practitioners in NYJS, NCS, NIDAS, which is supported, monitored and supervised by Respect for the delivery to families in Norfolk where CAPVA is identified and referred using dedicated pathways.

7F/STAR/056 Request for Non-Compliant Single Tender Action v2.2 OFFICIAL OFFICIAL  Ensure effective referral pathways into the dedicated practitioner teams.  Coordination of the partnership delivery of the RYPP through a dedicated project manager to ensure the approach is: o Mobilised and delivered effectively across the agencies in a consistent coherent manner avoiding duplication. o Development of outcome evaluation measurements to ensure that activities remain effective, supports families and safeguarding approaches, ensures outcomes and benefits are met and develops future sustainability.  Provision of Domestic Abuse IDVAs specialising in supporting families and children working within the countywide NIDAS service.  Provision of dedicated therapeutic support for all children participating in the approach inclusive of support for neurological conditions.  Embed learning with all key stakeholders and strategic boards in Norfolk and sharing best practice with national audience.  Strategic and operational oversight mechanism through the development of a DASVG Perpetrator Multi Agency Partnership CAPVA Task and Finish subgroup through life of the project The anticipated outcomes of the project are to:  Reduce verbal aggression, severity of violence and abuse in close relationships  Improve emotional well-being (coping with anxiety, anger, depression, emotional self-regulation), inclusive or therapeutic and clinical support offers for children/adolescents  Improve family communication, relationships and feelings of safety for all  Build parenting confidence and skills by a trained workforce who are supported and supervised by a nationally accredited organisation  Increase the children/adolescent's insight to their own behaviour and reduce their risk to others.

As this is a pilot project projection of up to 250 referrals for the 12-week Respect Young Peoples Programme into the NYJS, NCS and NIDAS teams.

This will offer those families assessed as suitable the opportunity to engage with the approach across the life of the funding.

In addition, this will offer a number of children specialist intensive neurodiversity support per year through our partner organisation.
