The brief

The Council requires a supplier for the provision of a future business plan service for the development of the Alexander Stadium and the buildings within the site boundary as a sustainable community sports hub capable of continuing to host future international athletics competition.

There is a requirement for the production of a masterplan to support the Council in providing a sustainable community legacy facility following the hosting of the CWG in 2022.

The programme for the development of the stadium is to deliver the facilities by June 2022.

Up to 1 year beforehand the facilities will need to be tested with live sport events, meaning the majority of the facilities will need to be operational by the summer of 2021.

The Council will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
