The brief

The Corporate Business Support team (CBS) wishes to appoint a Courier Service provider for a period of 3 years with the option of extending for a further 2 years.\r \r 1.2 It is anticipated that the contract will commence on 1st November 2021.\r \r 1.3 The successful provider will provide an efficient, reliable and reasonably priced service for all booking requests.\r \r 1.4 CBS currently has a rolling contract with its current provider E-Courier and so is free to explore other providers and enter a new contract.\r \r 2.

Aims and Objective\r \r 2.1 The aim is to award a contract to a competent single supplier for an initial period of three years with the option to extend for a further two years.\r \r 2.2 The successful provider must be able to fulfil all bookings made.\r \r 2.3 Hackney Council employees will need to be able to send booking requests to CBS for same day and future journeys with confidence that it will be fulfilled by the provider.
