Disposal of Modular Buildings

Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking expressions of interest from relevant organisations in respect of the disposal of two modular buildings currently situated on the Alder Hey Hospital retained estate site in West Derby, Liverpool.

The buildings are currently primarily used as office accommodation but originally housed a mixture of clinical and administrative functions.

The buildings consist of two interconnected sections over two storeys and have different end dates for the current leases (one is due to terminate in March 2017 and the other in March 2018).

In due course, site visits will be offered to allow all interested parties the opportunity to view the buildings in situ.

It is expected that these site visits will be undertaken in mid-January 2017 with a contract award being made no later than the first week in March 2017.

The Trust would wish to consider variant bids that might allow continued occupation of the buildings after completion of the purchase for a further limited period of time, with the Trust paying a rent in the interim, on the expiry of which the bidder would dismantle and remove the Plant.

AT PRESENT, THE TRUST IS SEEKING TO CONDUCT SOME PRE-MARKET ENGAGEMENT BEFORE ISSUING A FORMAL SPECIFICATION.
