Contract for the Provision of a Music Service System

Durham Music Service aims to give every child and young person the chance to enjoy high-quality music education, no matter their skills or background.

We work with a variety of partners to offer exciting and diverse music opportunities, making sure everyone involved gets to experience meaningful musical moments.

Our goal is to continue providing top-notch teaching and learning experiences that are recognized nationwide.

Working with over 350 schools and 18,000 pupils a week within Durham and Darlington.

This Contract is for the Provision of a Music Service System.

Please note that the Council are seeking to procure a Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) product/system and will not accept development partnerships for this Contract.

The expected start date for the proposed contract is 15th July 2024.

The expected end date for the proposed contract is 14th July 2029.

The proposed contract is to be let with two further options to extend for a further 24 months per extension period.

Proposed Extension Period 1: 15th July 2029 - 14th July 2031.

Proposed Extensioon Period 2: 15th July 2031 - 14th July 2033.
