Unfortunately the increased pressure this brings to the fragile vegetation and archaeological sites has caused erosion problems.
The purpose of the contract is to seek the services of a suitably qualified contractor to install a soil reversal path for the repair of a 2,680 metre section of the Pennine Way above Gibshiel of width 1.5 - 2 metre.
