UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF): Progression Towards Inclusive Employment
This is a large award for Education & Training — above three-quarters of comparable contracts. Based on 23,516 valued Education & Training tenders in our corpus.
The GMCA Education, Skills & Work (ESW) directorate looked to procure a lead provider to deliver a programme of activity which identifies, engages and supports economically inactive GM residents (aged 19 and over) who are furthest away from the labour market, with complex needs (including those who are not engaged with mainstream provision) to address barriers and achieve positive onward destinations.
The programme also has a dedicated offer for economically inactive residents aged over 50 who experience age-related challenges.
This opportunity was commissioned as a further competition/call off from the education, work and skills flexible procurement system.
