HEALTHCARE QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PARTNERSHIP
NCA 2003 National Clinical Audit of Anxiety and Depression
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
The Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) is working with NHS England to commission a new contract for a National Clinical Audit of Anxiety and Depression (NCAAD).
The overarching aim of the NCAAD is the collection, analysis and effective reporting of robust comparative data on the quality of care delivered to patients treated within secondary care mental health services.
The audit will comprise three elements: 1) a retrospective case record review of service user cohort who were admitted to secondary mental health care services for a new episode of anxiety or depression, 2) a phased development plan to move the audit from a retrospective case review methodology to a continuous prospective core audit of key process and outcome measures for service users admitted to secondary mental health care services for a new episode of anxiety or depression, 3) starting from year 2, annual ‘spotlight’ audits of specific patient sub-groups or care pathways.
