Leicester City Council (in collaboration with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Leicestershire) undertook a procurement process and has awarded the contract for the Substance Misuse Recovery Hub Service.
The Recovery Hub is an important service for individuals with long standing and entrenched alcohol-related problems, targeting drinkers identified as 'treatment resistant' who, due to lifestyle and complexity find it particularly difficult to engage with treatment services.
The contract will be initially for a period. of 3 years to commence on 2nd Apri12018 with an option to extend (subject to satisfactory performance outcomes and agreement by the partners) for a further period or periods up to 24 months, taking the contract term to a maximum of 60 months.
