The brief

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust invites tender proposals for a contract to provide Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVA) service at Frimley Park Hospital in Frimley, Wexham Park Hospital in Slough and Heatherwood Hospital in Ascot.

The overall objective of the IDVA service is to: a) provide immediate support and advice to victims of domestic violence within hospital, b) link individuals and families to longer-term community based support, c) to provide Trust staff with expert training so that they have the confidence to ask about domestic abuse.

The Trust requires the service which will involve 2 Advisors with one based full-time at Frimley Park Hospital (FPH) and the other one in Wexham Park Hospital (WPH).

The duration of contract will be 2 years with 2 optional extensions by 1 year each.
