The brief

This research is being commissioned to increase our understanding of the supply chains (including all revenue streams) in DCMS sectors, with a focus on those from-and-to firms based outside the UK.

Understanding the supply chain will offer two specific insights, on: • The interdependencies between sectors; • How much is each point in the supply chain is dependent or integrated with sectors outside the UK.

We want to be able to map out, both quantitatively and qualitatively, the extent to which our sectors rely upon each other, the extent to which they rely on trade or collaboration with firms based in the EU or elsewhere, and the particular points in the supply chain where these relationships are most pronounced.
