Solent LEP - external advice on the future value of the retained rates on the Solent Enterprise Zone at Daedalus

Solent LEP, through it's accountable body Portsmouth City Council, is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced providers to tender for this project.

The scope of which will comprise of but may not be limited to external advice about the amount of retained rates available to the LEP on an annual basis in line with the predicted growth in the Enterprise Zone.

The work should include the following outputs: • Preparation of a report setting out (on an annual basis) the actual value of the retained rates accrued since the Solent Enterprise Zone was designated in 2012 and also the forecast annual retained rates from the period 2016/17 through to 2036/37.

This should be broken down to show the retained rates for Daedalus West, Daedalus East and the Waterfront; • Development of an interactive model for estimating retained business rates from the Solent Enterprise Zone at Daedalus which Solent LEP and its Accountable Body can itself use for future forecasting.

The initial contract period will be for 4 months.
