Gating and Boundary Fencing within Staffordshire Locations
The Commissioners office is looking to improve gating and fencing security in areas particularly affected by acquisitive crimes such as vehicle theft and personal robbery.
These locations have been identified as areas to invest in.
Local communities will benefit from 'target hardening' measures including improved lighting, gating and fencing will be supported by upgrading and install of CCTV cameras, in hotspot locations to provide a visible deterrent.
An important part of this overall preventative approach will be the installation of gates and fencing to alleyways in areas adjacent to commercial and terraced properties.
Installation sites have been identified based on levels of crime and repeat victimisation and will involve a combination of vehicle gates, pedestrian gates and boundary fencing/adjoining railings subject to on-site surveys and advice from the selected contractor.
