The brief

A requirement for Commercial & Communal Gas services in accord with the requirements described within the scope of the service and repair specification within document Appendix 1 (Prelims) and Appendix 2 (Specification).

The services will cover but not be limited to all aspects of servicing, repair and gas safety inspections to Communal gas appliances and systems, smoke alarms, CO detectors and various forms of renewable technologies all as detailed within document Appendix 2 An awareness of the requirements in respect of Water System Cleansing and ACOP L8 risk assessments and management is required but no work of this nature will be completed under this contract.

There will be an expectation that the Service Provider will also provide similar services to any other related or similar appliance, system, or ancillary control not specifically detailed within this specification as are currently available and that may become available throughout the life of this contract.

Where necessary revised rates may be agreed as and when such occurs, and the Service Provider will be expected to identify training and other needs as required to facilitate this requirement.

Please note within the scope of this tender there is a very small number of Domestic Heating, Servicing, Responsive Repair and Safety Inspections required, which fall outside of Commercial & Communal.

Tenderers can opt out of this Domestic requirement and will not be penalised and SQ responses will/can be evaluated based on Commercial & Communal requirements only
