The brief

London Borough of Hackney and the City of London would like to commission a provider to provide an Enhanced Health Visiting Service.

The key aim of the Service is to lead the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme 0-5, as part of a holistic and joined up service with early years services, and within the context of an integrated health and care system.

The Enhanced Health Visiting Service aims to reduce vulnerabilities and address the inequalities exacerbated by the pandemic, by providing greater autonomy for the Service to target resources where they are most needed.

The successful Provider is required to develop and maintain close working relationships with wider partners such as children's social care, primary care, early years services and early education providers to enable full integration of services.

This in turn will provide a more joined-up, cost-effective service which can be tailored to individual needs, paving the way to deliver a service across a wider range of public health issues.
