OFFICE FOR NATIONAL STATISTICS
Provision of MSc In Data Analytics for Government
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This is a large award for Education & Training — above three-quarters of comparable contracts. Based on 23,516 valued Education & Training tenders in our corpus.
The Office for National Statistics wishes to set up a framework agreement for development and delivery of an MSc in Data Analytics for Government.
One of the key aims for the new MSc course is to reduce the travel time to and from University by Government staff.
The MSc programme should be offered in different locations and could be delivered in different formats (e.g. five full days per week per module or across the standard academic semester), making it more accessible to all UK Government analytical staff.
It has been agreed to adopt a new approach to the procurement process for this Masters programme.
Universities will be invited by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) to become a 'preferred supplier' of the Masters programme Framework, that contains the list of preferred suppliers.
The study length is to be flexible, allowing Government staff to vary their study commitments between full-time , part-time, 1 to 5 years, with an option to suspend studies for up to 1 year.
Tender documents will not be published until the OJEU notice has been published and verified by the OJEU publication team which is likely to be W/C 1st December.
This project has been set up prior to issuing tender documentation to allow suppliers to express an interest in this opportunity.
Suppliers that have expressed an interest in this project will receive automatic notification when tender documents become available.
The tendering process will be completed through the e-sourcing portal, In-tend.
