Salford City Council are committed to ensuring that there are sufficient, good quality, sustainable homes and services to look after the children and young people we care for.

In accordance with the Placement and Case Review Regulations (2010) Salford ensures that there are a range of placements sufficient to meet the needs of children and young people in the care of the local authority, and makes arrangements to promote co-operation with relevant partners to improve the wellbeing of children in the local area.

It is important that a high standard of care is provided to the residents and that this is independently regulated in line with legislation and Ofsted requirements.
