The brief

The Government Equalities Office (GEO) is appointing an organisation with expertise in enterprise skills and understands the issues faced by women who want to start and grow their own business to: • Develop a skills self-assessment toolkit to support existing or potential entrepreneurs to assess whether they have the right skills to start or grow their own business.

Whilst this would be available to both men and women we would like it to be developed to meet the specific needs of female entrepreneurs. • Have an iterative approach to the development of the toolkit, by developing and testing the toolkit with female entrepreneurs prior to launch to ensure it meets their needs. • To effectively market the toolkit to promote its visibility and usage amongst female entrepreneurs.
