Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust are commissioned to deliver the Adults Secondary Mental Health Contract within West Essex.
The NHS Long Term Plan sets out an ambitious expansion for Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Services to be delivered by 2023/24.
The SPMHS is being proposed to be delivered by EPUT as the service requires close alignment to secondary mental health services and increasing therapeutic interventions.
Most importantly, EPUT has established a well regarded community based SPMHS of highly skilled professionals in place from which to lead the expansion of these clinical services.
The proposed contract duration will align with the EPUT Mental Health contract and will therefore expire on 31st March 2023.
