GIS Software - Information Notice
Durham Constabulary requires a Corporate Geographical Information System (GIS) solution.
It is anticipated that a framework with 1 supplier will be established to allow North East regional forces to call off from the agreement.
At this point in time, this is expected to include Northumbria and Cleveland forces.
Please note that all information within this notice is estimated at this point - full details will be provided in the Procurement Documentation when Durham Constabulary commences the procurement process.
The tender process will be conducted on EU Supply (www.eu-supply.com) and suppliers are advised to register for free on this site if they wish to participate.
A Contract Notice will be issued on OJEU and Contracts Finder when the opportunity is live, directing suppliers to the procurement documentation.
Key capabilities for the GIS Solution are likely to include: 1.
Integration with Command & Control System (Sopra Steria "Storm") 2.
Crime Analysis functionality including integration with other third party tools 3.
Production of cartography using Public Sector Mapping Agreement data 4.
Routing calculations 5.
Compliance with Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards 6.
Gazetteer provision to BS7666 7.
Provision of APIs to allow GIS functionality to be incorporated in other applications 8.
