The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) distributes a share of funds raised by the National Lottery.
Since 1994 we have awarded £6.8 billion to over 39,000 projects across the UK, ranging from major capital projects at iconic heritage sites to small education and community projects.
HLF is administered by the Trustees of the National Heritage Memorial Fund (NHMF) and gives grants to support a wide range of projects involving the local, regional and national heritage of the United Kingdom.
We distribute money raised to projects that make a lasting difference for heritage, people and communities.
Information about HLF is at www.hlf.org.uk Under the current Strategic Framework, HLF is committed to supporting heritage organisations to become more resilient in dealing with current opportunities and challenges such as loss of regular income streams, taking on new responsibilities for heritage, developing new models of governance, leadership and management, or accessing new or alternative sources of finance.
In July 2016 we are consolidating and expanding our current funding streams focused on organisational resilience into a single programme, Resilient Heritage.
To support grantees of this programme we are seeking to add to our Register of Support Services around 10-15 mentors with expertise in developing resilient and sustainable organisations.
Further information on the Skills and Skills Mix for the specialisms we are seeking can be found in the Invitation to Tender .
