Health and Safety Engagement Services

HS2 Ltd aims to set a new standard in the health and safety performance of a major project.

Its vision is currently laid out within the HS2 Safe and Fit Every time and Everywhere programme, which pledges to design, build and operate the railway to the highest health and safety standards so that everyone who works on the project goes home unharmed each day.

HS2 therefore requires its leaders, key targeted staff and contractors to lead by example, inspiring and guiding others to behave and work safely at all times, irrespective of their role or location; in other words, to become great safety leaders.

To help achieve this, HS2 Ltd has a requirement for an organisation to deliver a programme of Behavioural Safety workshops.

These workshops shall be presented as a series of ‘drama scenarios’ and interactive face-to-face content, and must be designed to create a lasting impression on participants.

The contract will be for an initial 4-year period, with options to extend for two further periods of a maximum of 1-year each.

Potential providers are requested to apply and submit a detailed tender response in accordance with the instructions detailed within this notification and the associated invitation to tender documents by 12:00 Noon on 14th October 2015.

Potential providers are required to evidence the previous supply of similar services (including a case study and details of a referee), clearly explain their approach to workshop design and offer proposals for three identified scenarios.
