EHRC 1617-01 UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN CRPD) Civil society capacity building and reporting

The EHRC (jointly with the SHRC in Scotland) is commissioning two projects that will result in the production of disability civil society reports that will be sent to the UN CRPD Committee - one from civil society organisations in England and Wales, with distinct chapters on each country, and one from Scotland.

In addition, the projects will result in the production of an overarching Great Britain (GB) summary paper, highlighting the key priorities for civil society across all three countries.

This request for tenders is in the form of two lots: Lot 1: England and Wales civil society project Lot 2: Scotland civil society project We have based the suggested approach to these projects on discussions with our statutory Disability Committee, disabled people and civil society organisations.

Both projects aim to encourage disabled people to participate in the CRPD monitoring process and to share their experiences with the CRPD Committee.

However, we welcome proposals for alternative approaches that meet the project(s) aims.

We welcome proposals from potential contractors for one or both of these projects, and we also encourage proposals that adopt a partnership approach from organisations in one, two or three countries.

Please note: if separate contractors secure each lot, they will be required to work together to produce an overarching GB summary report.

Mae'r Comisiwn Cydraddoldeb a Hawliau Dynol (gan weithio ar y cyd â Chomisiwn Hawliau Dynol yr Alban yn yr Alban) yn comisiynnu dwy brosiect fydd a'r canlyniad i gynhyrchu adroddiadau anabledd cymdeithas sifil a fydd yn cael eu gyrru at Bwyllgor Confensiwn y CU ar Hawliau Personau ag Anableddau (CRPD) - un o sefydliadau cymdeithas sifil yn Lloegr a Chymru, gyda phennodau unigryw ar bob gwlad, ac un o'r Alban.

Yn ogystal bydd y prosiectau gyda'r canlyniad o gynhyrchu papur crynhoi â throsolwg ar Brydain Fawr, yn amlygu blaenoriaethau allweddol i gymdeithas sifil ar draws tair gwlad.

Mae'r cais hwn am dendrau ar ffurf dwy ran: Rhan 1: Prosiect cymdeithas sifil Cymru a Lloegr Rhan 2: Prosiect cymdeithas sifil yr Alban Rydym wedi sylfaenu ein dynesiad awgrymiedig i'r prosiectau hyn ar drafodaethau gyda ein Pwyllgor Anableadd statudol, pobl anabl a sefydliadau cymdeithas sifil.

Mae'r ddwy brosiect yn anelu i ysgogi pobl anabl i gymryd rhan yn y broses fonitro CRPD ac I rannu eu profiadau gyda'r Pwyllgor CRPD.

Modd bynnag rydym yn croesawu cynigion o ddulliau amgen i gyrraedd nodau'r prosiect(au).

Rydym yn croesawu cynigion gan gontractwyr posibl ar gyfer un neu'r ddwy ran, ac rydym hefyd yn annog cynigion sy'n mabwysiadu dull partneriaeth gan sefydliadau mewn un, dwy neu dair o'r gwledydd.
