B&NES Care Homes Flexible Framework

Bath & North East Somerset Council, in partnership with BaNES Clinical Commissioning Group, are establishing a flexible framework for the provision of care home (nursing and residential) services.

It is intended that the flexible framework is for care homes within the boundary of the Local Authority and/or Clinical Commissioning Group.

Where there is evidence that an out of area home is frequently used by the Local Authority and/or CCG commissioners may also request that the home applies for a place on the flexible framework.

This notice applies to services being let under the Light Touch Regime (Regulation 74 to 77 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015) under which the Council has flexibility as to the process or procedure to be used when purchasing certain services.

The Council will apply flexibilities to the process, which will be detailed further in the Contract Notice.

Note: length of framework to be confirmed.

The Council and CCG are holding a market engagement event to provide more information regarding the flexible framework to care homes who operate within the Bath & North East Somerset Council and Clinical Commissioning Group boundaries.

The event is being held on Tuesday 2nd April 2019, 9.30 - 12, at Southdown Methodist Church Main Hall, Bath, BA2 1NJ.
