The brief

Hertfordshire and West Essex Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) are holding a pre-procurement market engagement event for providers of Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Services.

This is to engage with commissioners in discussions about meeting the opportunities and requirements as set out in the Mental Health Five Year Forward view and beyond: • Access target growth to 25% of estimated population • Two-thirds of growth coming from integrated long term conditions services • Increase therapists working in Primary Care • Wait time and recovery standards We are specifically seeking providers with a track record or growth ambition in delivering services to a similar volume of access target as our individual CCGs or our Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) as a whole.

West Essex CCG also have a separate contract outside of the Mental health contract to deliver IAPT services.

This contract is coming to an end in July 2020, therefore we would also like to take the opportunity to test market interest, capacity and capabilities in delivering the wider service in addition to those points listed above.

The feedback from this will be utilised to inform the future commissioning intentions for these services.

We recognise the value in partnerships to deliver a range of IAPT interventions and welcome the presence of all types of providers.

Any provider wishing to attend can find full details and register to attend using the following link: http://www.supplyhertfordshire.uk/ The event is being held on Monday 4th June at: County Hall Peg's Lane Hertford SG13 8DQ Each interested provider will be issued a One hour time slot to speak to the commissioners.

This can be done either in person or via tele/video conference.

Slots will be allocated following the deadline
