Systems Engineering Developement

High Speed Two Ltd (“HS2”) has a requirement for the delivery of a series of ‘Professional Services – System Engineering Support Tasks’ to support HS2 System Engineering team.

Tenders are invited from organisations listed on the Rail Industry Supplier Qualification System (“RISQS”) Product Code: 07.12.01.

The successful Tenderer will ensure timely development of HS2’s key system engineering products, specifically: Table 1 – Key Contract Milestones Contract Milestones Completion Date Milestone 1 – Production of Functional Architecture v5 29 January 2016 Milestone 2 – Production of Phase 1 System Architecture Diagram v3 26 Feb 2016 Final Approval and Sign-Off of First Tranche deliverables 31 March 2016 Milestone 3 – Production of Phase 2 System Architecture Diagram v1 & Physical Architecture Diagrams v1 24 June 2016 Milestone 4 – Production of Future defined products (as defined by Customer instructions to be confirmed in April 2016) 30 September 2016 Final Approval and Sign-Off of Second Tranche deliverables 28 October 2016 The above products are required to support the delivery of key HS2 programme milestones including release of the Programme Requirement Specification (PRS v1).

The overarching aim of this commission is to develop and support a ‘Professional Services System Engineering Support Programme’.

The aim of this Programme is to equip HS2’s managers with the knowledge, skills and expertise to develop the necessary system engineering processes and products to enable them to professionally deliver the HS2 project on time, to specification and within budget.
