The Group acknowledges that in order to assist with the cost effectiveness of the servicing contract minor repairs will also be part of this contract on the following conditions; Repairs must be carried out whilst on site servicing – not a return visit, unless it is to return to the same site to service another unit.
Remedial servicing repairs (not requiring prior authorisation) will not exceed £250.00 (including parts, labour & VAT).
Details of remedial repairs and costs should be included on the worksheet that accompanies the invoice.
The successful contractor will be required to identify any further repairs (exceeding £250.00 including VAT) to the Planned Preventative Maintenance Manager prior to any works being undertaken.
If works over £250 are undertaken without the prior approval of the Planned Preventative Maintenance Manager it is possible that you will not be reimbursed.
Works over £250 will require an itemised quotation submitting to the Planned Preventative Maintenance Manager for consideration.
Some of the units are located at height and as such you are strongly advised to take advantage of the site visit offer.
Your submission should include costs for accessing units at height and you should stipulate in your return how you propose to undertake those works whilst complying with the Working at height directive.
