Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs
Evaluating digital engagement and nudge effectiveness among less digitally
We want to help farmers and other land managers make better decisions about how to use their land.
We want to understand the extent to which providing application defaults based on farm and/or land types will encourage participants with limited digital literacy, which may also include those who are neurodivergent, to choose to deliver the right things in the right places, by reducing the cognitive load associated with sifting out irrelevant options and reading complex guidance.
Our intention is to test this in the context of setting up ELM SFI funding agreement.
