The brief

Remove vehicles identified by Cambridgeshire County Council Parking Services for vehicles with 3 or more outstanding Penalty Charge Notices, in accordance with the Traffic Management Act 2004 Other information Ensure the Pound is open during business hours (which shall be, for the avoidance of doubt 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday but excluding Bank Holidays) to members of the public for payments and for collection of the relevant vehicle; Make payment facilities available for vehicle owners at the Pound including payment by credit card, debit card and cash; Record the condition of the vehicle prior to removal, on arrival at the Pound and before vehicle is released from the Pound; Provide to the motorist upon release of the vehicle, documents supplied by the Council informing the motorist of their right to appeal; Upon the authorisation of an appointed Council officer, halt the removal process, or release a vehicle identified for removal, as soon as is reasonably possible whether payment has or has not been received; Inform the Council immediately of any factors that may affect the service provided and which may delay the vehicle being returned to the owner within 1 hour after payment has been received; Investigate and provide a final written report to the Council (which may include a payment for any justified compensation claim) upon receiving a claim or complaint regarding the Contractor's practices; Provide a copy of any report produced under this Contract to the Council; and, Collect Penalty Charge Notices on behalf of the Council from vehicle owners, and then forward all monies in respect of the same to the Council in accordance with the provisions of Schedule 1.
