****This has been awarded to MottMacdonald, MottMacDonald House,8-10 Sydenham rd Croden CR0 2EE***The Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced specialist service to work with The Northern Gateway Partnership for the following project led by Cheshire East Council to undertake the following: The Partnership are seeking to appoint a team to develop a comprehensive and validated land use and connectivity plan for the NGDZ which fully incorporates and is consistent with the detailed spatial masterplans being developed for Crewe, Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent City to provide a cohesive and inclusive plan for the whole NGDZ.
This study will build on work already undertaken by the NGDZ and its partners including the embryonic growth strategy, emerging Local Plans and the outputs of the spatial opportunities work package.
This will involve working across authority boundaries and with a large group of internal stakeholders in order to evaluate work done to date and the ambitions of the Partnership in order to produce the required outputs of this commission.
Neither Cheshire East, nor any of the individual Partners within the Partnership, has the internal capacity, or the skills required in order to fulfil the outputs of this commission.
