The brief

A contract was awarded to administer, run, support and evaluate a 'development fund' to implement Teach Too activities in a number of geographical areas and sectors.

Teach Too was about encouraging people from industry to spend some time teaching their work including: - industry professionals teaching in provider or workplace environments, and/or contributing to curriculum development, whilst continuing to work - promoting the practice of teachers and trainers updating their industry experience - helping to build the 'two-way street' - genuinely collaborative arrangements between employers and providers.

The Foundation sought a delivery partner who could: - run a competitive process to allocate the development fund to a range of projects - work with existing partnerships (which could be of providers, employers, or a mix of the two) to run a series of small scale projects which implement Teach Too activities - support the projects to ensure that they are run effectively, are delivered on time and that the opportunities to learn from the work are maximised - evaluate the activity to gain the learning about whether stimulating Teach Too activity in this way still leads to positive outcomes.

This was in the form of a report which identified the main findings and recommendations for future development of Teach Too activities.
