The brief

The Authority is seeking 'Expressions of Interest' from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to provide high quality smoking cessation training to the Defence Primary Health Care workforce in the UK.

The organisation will provide expert advice to support Defence Smoking Cessation service improvement and Tobacco Control policy development.

The accredited provider will be able to deliver a range of evidence based smoking cessation training at locations across UK and support online and face-to-face courses.

We are looking for an organisation with a proven track record and understands the context of delivering public health programmes, have a sound knowledge and track record of training healthcare staff in smoking cessation techniques and working to influence public health policy at board level or equivalent within the public or private sector.

Accredited providers will be required to meet, sustain and work to a set of quality and competency standards.
