This tender relates to the rights to publish, jointly with DVSA, the official editions of our resources and works, as well as The Official Highway Code in English and Welsh and The Northern Ireland Highway Code.
The successful tenderer will also be allowed to develop, with DVSA’s approval, new products and formats from DVSA’s and Open Government Licence content.
This includes writing or commissioning new content and, with agreement, may include working with external partners who are well placed to promote and disseminate the Standards in new and effective ways.
The successful bidder will be granted a concession to trade in and promote publishing and associated products and activities in partnership with DVSA and using its brand, the Official Highway Code and other Crown copyright works, including those developed by the partnership.
All intellectual properties in products developed by the partnership belong to DVSA except copyright, which belongs to The Queen’s Printer and Controller of Her Majesty’s Stationery Office.
