Currently the sewage system from the Plumley site office utilises a septic tank system.
This discharges via pipes/ ditches and the site interceptor, eventually to the Peover Eye river off site.
In order for the site to remain legally compliant in terms of discharges, there is a requirement to upgrade the sewage system at Plumley to a treatment plant that complies with modern standards.
There is no requirement for any work at the CoGH site.
There is an urgent requirement to fit this new system as soon as possible.
