GB-London: Temporary Exhibition Build Contractors Approved List
This is a large award for Construction — above three-quarters of comparable contracts. Based on 64,002 valued Construction tenders in our corpus.
The V&A is inviting interested Contractors to submit a completed Pre-Qualification Questionnaire ("PQQ") to be considered to be appointed onto its Temporary Exhibition Build Contractors Approved List.
We anticipate that the list will run for 2-4 years.
The V&A has an annual programme of changing temporary exhibitions and displays.
Complementing the Museum's permanent collection, they cover a broad range of subjects from design and fashion to photography and architecture.
Construction budgets range from approximately £200,000 to £1,000,000 per project depending on the size and complexity of the exhibition in question.
The upper end of this range will often include AV hardware, in addition to setworks, showcases, graphic production, lighting, electrics and specific object mounts where they are integral to the build.
The V&A envisages that it will make available the opportunity for accepting new Contractors onto the list every 3 - 6 months.
Interested suppliers that do not meet the deadline in this notice can email their interest procurement@vam.ac.uk at any time for details of the next opportunity to submit a PQQ.
If an Applicant submits a PQQ which is not successful, they may not reapply for a minimum of one year.
