The Trust is a fast-changing and dynamic organisation and is seeking a contract for the provision of a fullyintegrated and flexible financial ledger, e-Procurement and e-Reporting solution to support both The Christieand the Christie Charity.
The provider must provide a fully managed service including data centre hardware that has robust and comprehensive backup and disaster recovery arrangements, system upgrades and a support desk that is responsive to user requirements.
The finance solution as a minimum must include general ledger, purchase ledger, sales ledger, cashmanagement, e-Procurement, fixed assets, catalogue integration and e-Reporting functionality.
The solution must be able to accept interfaces and import data files from other systems such as a catalogue management solution, NHS Supply Chain, ESR (payroll) and bank statements.
In-line with the Trusts Sharing and Information Strategy the reporting solution must have the ability to produceinformation, to meet statutory (both NHS and Charity Commission) and internal reporting requirements, that isdirectly generated by the system.
It is critical that the reporting solution is user-friendly, robust and secure with a high degree of flexibility to meetthe extensive information needs of procurement, financial and non-financial users across the Trust.
There are 50 core users within the finance and procurement department, trust wide we have 800 + users who have access to the current online system.
