NHS Hillingdon CCG Musculoskeletal Services
This is a large award for Health & Social Care — above three-quarters of comparable contracts. Based on 32,734 valued Health & Social Care tenders in our corpus.
NHS Hillingdon Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers of Musculoskeletal Services (MSK) to register their interest in a possible future opportunity.
The purposes of this engagement is to inform the contracting approach for a potential future MSK service, and to gauge the level of market interest in providing the preferred model of care.
The provider will be responsible for developing and implementing an integrated and coordinated programme of MSK care within Hillingdon.
The overall aims of the Community MSK service will be to: Provide a cost effective, standardised, clinically effective and safe community MSK service Improve quality and clinical outcomes through standardisation of care across an integrated pathway Enable patients to have equitable access to a range of treatments in a convenient community setting Provide comprehensive and ongoing education to support primary care management of MSK conditions, and patient self-management Provide joined up care to ensure a seamless service for patients.
The CCG's current intentions are to establish a contract for a period of three years with the option to extend for up to a further 2 years at the CCG's discretion.
The estimated budget for the service will be between ~£90 million to ~£95 million (over a maximum 5 years).
Please note that collaborative solutions, including bids from partnerships and consortia will be welcome.
Should the CCG pursue a competitive procurement process to commission the preferred model of care, this is likely to commence May 2018 to enable service commencement in November 2018.
If you have an interest to deliver MSK services in Hillingdon, you are invited to review the attached draft Service Specification and Memorandum of Information (MOI), then complete and return the attached Market Engagement questionnaire via email to: tom_baker@nhs.net by 3rd March 2018.
